L'ESAMI et la Swiss School of Management (SSM) proposent conjointement un programme de doctorat en administration des affaires (DBA) accrédité au niveau international sur 3 ans en Afrique orientale et australe. Le programme est basé sur un apprentissage mixte et les étudiants peuvent rejoindre le programme à tout moment. Les cours seront effectués à l'aide de la plate-forme d'apprentissage en ligne de SSM avec les campus ESAMI et SSM disponibles en tant que centres d'études. Des ateliers en ligne de quatre jours et des webinaires fréquents sur des sujets sélectionnés seront proposés pendant le programme. Les candidats inscrits en 2020 recevront une bourse partielle.
