Le diplôme d'associé en biologie humaine en sciences fournit une base solide en sciences biologiques aux étudiants qui souhaitent accéder aux professions infirmières et aux professions de la santé connexes.
L'obtention de ce diplôme satisfait à toutes les conditions préalables de biologie et de chimie pour l'admission aux programmes LVN et LVN-RN et remplit bon nombre des exigences de la division inférieure pour une variété de diplômes de baccalauréat en sciences de la santé. Ce diplôme n'est pas destiné aux étudiants pré-médicaux, pré-dentaires ou pré-pharmacie (voir AS ou AS-T en sciences biologiques à la place).

- Les élèves décriront la structure macroscopique et microscopique des principaux organes du corps humain.

- Les étudiants compareront et opposeront les relations commensales, opportunistes et pathologiques entre les humains et les micro-organismes.
To earn this degree, students must meet the following requirements:
- Completion of 60-degree applicable units with an overall GPA of 2.0.
- Achèvement d'un minimum de 18 unités semestrielles dans la majeure avec une note de C (ou P) ou mieux.
- Completion of the AS Graduation Requirements, CSU GE-B or IGETC.

NEW Progress Pride Scholarship!
For the first time, the Mensa Foundation seeks to award our Progress Pride Scholarship: up to two $10,000 scholarships. The scholarship is intended for college-bound, college, or graduate students at U.S. universities who identify as both BIPOC and LGBTQ—and who have demonstrated positive service to the BIPOC and LGBTQ communities.
POINT Foundation Scholarship
The Community College Scholarship Program launched in 2016 and went national in 2017. To be selected for the scholarship, students are evaluated on academic performance and potential, financial need, involvement in school and community, and goals for the future. Deadline to Apply May 3rd.
