Qu'est-ce que la formation BA (Hons) in Hospitality Management ?
Le terme BA (Hons) en gestion de l'accueil est le plus souvent associé à l'hôtellerie, mais il englobe également les carrières dans les lieux de divertissement, les restaurants, les bars et la restauration décontractée, la gestion d'événements et la restauration collective.
Ce cursus de quatre ans est conçu pour doter les diplômés d'un large éventail de compétences commerciales combinées à une connaissance approfondie de l'environnement hôtelier.
Particularités du cours : Placement dans l'hôtellerie
Au cours du premier semestre de l'année 3, les étudiants doivent effectuer un stage organisé par l'école dans un établissement hôtelier en Irlande ou à l'étranger. Les étudiants sont activement impliqués dans le processus de prise de décision afin que leur choix d'expérience professionnelle corresponde à leurs aspirations et intérêts professionnels. Ce stage permet aux étudiants d'acquérir une expérience réelle du travail dans une entreprise du secteur de l'hôtellerie et de la restauration.
Parmi les entreprises qui ont participé aux stages, citons Four Seasons, Hilton, Westin, Mount Juliet Conrad, Park Hotel Kenmare, Jurys-Doyle, Tower Hotel Group, et bien d'autres encore.
