The M.S. in Health and the Public Interest (HAPI) Program, part of the Georgetown University Graduate School, is a unique interdisciplinary evidence-based training program that prepares students to help solve global healthcare problems. Students will examine health policy through a lens that takes into account societal, psychological, and cultural factors and how they intersect with corporate and institutional influences.

The Europubhealth+ programme is an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree that has been recognized as a Master of excellence by the European Commission since 2006. Seven renowned European universities are collaborating to deliver the Europubhealth+ Master’s course. The programme now enjoys a vibrant international network of public health professionals and academics, and more than 435 graduates of 86 different nationalities.

This is a cross-disciplinary programme with a global perspective. It provides students with evidence-based knowledge and a toolkit for conducting research, policy-making and fieldwork. The faculty has substantial experience from a range of disciplinary and geographical contexts and the diversity of the student body contributes to a stimulating learning environment. As one student expressed it: “The class and teaching are a microcosm of the global context we’ll face in work-life". Alumni are currently employed at a variety of institutions such as national health ministries, UNICEF, the WHO and various NGOs. In addition, many are researchers at top-ranked universities.
