Le MS in Sustainable Building Technology est un programme de diplôme post-professionnel de 30 heures de crédit destiné aux praticiens de l'architecture, de la construction, de l'ingénierie et d'autres domaines connexes.

Les ingénieurs formés à l’ESB sont capables de valoriser de manière innovante le bois et les autres matériaux biosourcés. Ils maitrisent les connaissances scientifiques et techniques, conduisent des équipes et managent des projets. Ils utilisent les nouvelles technologies et inscrivent leur démarche dans une logique d’économie circulaire.

Buildings are responsible for a large share of our global energy use. Energy use is in fact the main determinant of a building’s global environmental footprint, considering its life span. Students graduate with advanced knowledge, skills and competencies within the area of energy-efficient and environmental building design in heating-dominated climates. Our goal is to train highly skilled professionals who will significantly contribute to and influence the design, building or renovation of energy-efficient buildings and relating to renewable energy supplies, taking into consideration the architecture and environment, the inhabitants’ behaviour, needs, health and comfort, as well as the overall economy.

The SOS Program is designed to leverage the collective energy and individual experiences of the SOS students and team. In order to meet the needs of a wide range of students and professionals, the educational format has been re-organized according to a modular structure and at the same hand, it is in fact possible to enroll in the full-time master, lasting one year. The program is based upon a curriculum that combines Practice-Based Education with Research - Based Practice and Site - Based Experience.
