This extremely intensive, one-year, full-time programme prepares recent non-business graduates for a wide range of careers in management. You will learn to apply the skills you acquire in a range of areas including marketing, strategic management, business consultancy and organisational development. You will refine and build upon your communication, teamwork and presentation skills through individual and group work, and develop your professional skills in decision-making, problem-solving, analysis and critical reflection. During the studies, you are continuously encouraged to reflect, apply and relate new knowledge to future career ambitions. Some key elements of the programme are the base team; the learning journal; the learning tutorial; career coaching; shadowing a manager; the organisation project; the business game.

Do you want to help businesses gain insight by providing them with trend analysis, consumer and marketing research, business intelligence, scenario planning, strategy and innovation? Graduates from this programme can seek positions in international firms within marketing, strategy, brand and product management, sales and marketing research. The initial fifteen weeks of the programme are organised into two tracks. When applying to this programme, you must also select which track you want to follow, either a more management-oriented perspective or a perspective that puts an emphasis on consumer and cultural aspects.

MESPOM is an Erasmus+; Erasmus Mundus Joint Master's Degree in Environmental Sciences, Policy and Management operated by four leading European and two North American universities. The students study in at least three out of six consortium universities and are awarded a joint degree upon completion. Bringing together the best from the excellent partner institutions and offering on-site insight into multiple cultures with diverse environmental regimes, MESPOM prepares students for identifying and implementing solutions to complex environmental sustainability challenges, especially in an international context. The multifaceted educational journey also creates a unique platform for the vibrant alumni network that characterises this programme.

For the practical ‘doer’ that likes to work cross-functionally with others to transform business, this programme provides students with the resources, mindset and skills necessary to build a successful career in this field. It uses a multidisciplinary approach to the design, planning and management of supply chains and logistics strategies and teaches students both quantitative and qualitative problem-solving techniques that are applied through case studies, project work, business games and simulations. Graduates find employment in areas such as purchasing, packaging, warehousing, inventory management, production, transportation and supply chain management at companies like IKEA, Tetra Pak, Alfa Laval, Kintetsu World Express and Jungheinrich.
